Our Process
Whether your problem comes from outdated software that needs updating, broken parts which need replacing, or simple settings which need tweaking, we will locate the source of the problems through extensive software and hardware testing. We do everything from opening up the machine and looking around inside to manually solving errors and removing infections.
Our manual process means that we do not simply reset your computer to factory settings, we actually solve the problems. That means that you get to keep all of your data; we remove the viruses, not your files. In the end, we can save you a lot of money, from our competitors' outrageous prices and from needing to buy a replacement computer.
Tune-Ups
When you get your computer back, we want it to work faster and smoother than ever before. That is why we give every computer we work on a free tune-up. We speed up your machine's start-up, remove broken links and corrupted information, and optimize settings so that you can get the most out of your computer.
Replacement Parts
If we determine that your computer has parts in need of replacement or upgrade, we work with you to locate the best prices on compatible parts. If you would like us to order the parts for you, we may ask for partial payment in advance.
Reinstallation
In extreme situations, it may be necessary to reinstall your computer's operating system. In most cases, we will be able to extract and save your files from your computer before doing so. We will always contact you to explain the situation and request your permission before reinstalling.
Locations
We prefer that you drop off your computer so that we can use all of our available resources to fix the problem. If your problem is specific to your location, as may be the case with networking issues, or if you would simply rather we come to your location, that can also be arranged.
Pricing
We do not believe in getting paid unless we have done our job. Unlike other companies, our examinations are free, and you will not pay us a dime until we are finished solving the problems. We charge by the job, not the hour. Our typical computer repairs cost $50, but are subject to case-by-case variation.
